BiPAP Machine Rental

Two-pressure (bilevel) therapy for when standard CPAP isn't quite enough.

Is a BiPAP rental right for you?

A BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) machine delivers one pressure when you breathe in and a lower pressure when you breathe out — often easier to tolerate for people who find a single CPAP pressure uncomfortable. A BiPAP rental is usually a fit if you:

What's typically included

BiPAP rental packages generally include the bilevel machine, tubing, power supply, and one mask. Because BiPAP machines are more specialized than standard CPAPs, availability can be more limited — it's worth reserving ahead of when you need it.

Rent vs. buy — the honest tradeoff

BiPAP machines cost meaningfully more to buy than standard CPAPs, so renting first — especially during an insurance-required trial — is a common and sensible path. If your prescription and insurance are already finalized and you're confident in the settings, buying outright will usually save money over a longer term.

Not sure if you need CPAP or BiPAP? Check your sleep study report or prescription — it will specify which therapy was ordered. When in doubt, Ask Captain CPAP or confirm with your prescribing physician before renting.

Checkout Companion: Renting Your BiPAP on TheCPAPBox

A lot of customers get all the way to checkout and get stuck on the verification step — then give up. Here's exactly what to expect, in order, so you can get through it in one sitting.

  1. Get your info together first

Full name, shipping address, a phone number that can receive text messages, and — if you're using insurance — your prescription or your doctor's/DME's contact info. Having this ready before you start avoids losing your place mid-checkout.

  2. Go to TheCPAPBox's rental page and choose your rental

Pick your rental length and any accessories (mask, filters) you want included. Add it to your cart.

  3. Create your account with your phone number

Enter your number exactly as your carrier has it on file — full 10 digits, no typos. This is the number that will receive your one-time verification code (OTP).

  4. Watch for your verification code

A text with a short numeric code should arrive within a minute. This is the step where most people get stuck — if it doesn't show up, see the troubleshooting box below before trying again.

  5. Enter the code, then finish shipping & payment

Once you're verified, confirm your shipping address and complete payment or insurance information to place the order.

  6. Save your confirmation email

Keep it handy — if anything looks off (wrong item, wrong address, rental dates), Captain CPAP can help you sort it out before it ships.

⚠️ Didn't get your verification code (OTP)? Try these first

  • Re-enter your number carefully — include the area code, and remove any spaces, dashes, or parentheses.
  • Wait a full 60 seconds, then request a resend — carrier delays are common and a second attempt often works.
  • Check for a spam/robotext blocker — some phones and carrier apps silently filter one-time codes from unfamiliar numbers. Check your blocked-messages folder.
  • Turn off Wi-Fi calling briefly — on some phones this can interfere with standard SMS delivery.
  • Use "call me instead" if it's offered — a voice call with the code sidesteps text delivery issues entirely.
  • Try from a different phone as a last resort — a family member's phone can receive the code and read it to you. Never share your code with anyone you don't trust.

Still stuck? We'll finish it with you.

Captain CPAP can't submit the verification code for you — but we can get on the phone or email with you and TheCPAPBox's support team to get your order placed correctly.
